    To cancel your membership, follow these steps: Open the FareVet app. Tap the Menu button in the upper left corner. Go to the Your Plans page and select Premium Plan. Scroll to the bottom and tap Downgrade Subscription, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.

Estimated Costs: These ranges are provided either by our admin team or by a veterinary clinic that has claimed their business. Estimates are often based on factors like pet size, the complexity of the treatment, or real vet bills shared by users within the FareVet community. While these estimates help you budget, the final cost may vary depending on your pet’s specific needs. Average Costs: This is a general ballpark figure, either provided by our admin team or by a claimed veterinary clinic. It’s calculated from the data we’ve collected or from what the clinic chooses to share as a typical cost range. Average costs give you a rough idea of what to expect, helping you understand where a clinic’s prices generally fall. We work hard to update cost information daily, but errors may occasionally occur. To ensure you receive the most accurate pricing, always verify directly with the clinic before your pet is treated. This helps avoid surprises and ensures you're fully prepared for the cost.

    Due to current laws in the US and Canada, our veterinarians cannot prescribe medications during telehealth consultations. Prescription laws vary by state and province, and without a physical examination, veterinarians are unable to legally issue prescriptions in a virtual setting. That said, our vets are here to offer expert advice, help assess your pet’s condition, and guide you on what to do next, whether it involves an in-person visit or other steps to ensure your pet receives the best care possible.

    FareVet sends notifications for special deals and price changes on veterinary services. This feature is available to both Free and Premium users​.

    Simply go to the search page, enable your geolocation or enter the location in the search bar. Use the filter menu on the side of the page to choose the type of service you need, and you can also enter your pet’s weight if relevant. FareVet will then provide a list of nearby veterinary clinics, along with their prices for the specific services you're looking for. You can also filter by price instead of distance.
  • Can I book veterinary appointments through FareVet?
    Yes! FareVet allows you to easily book appointments with veterinarians directly through the app. Premium users can also access priority booking with top-rated veterinarians​.

Monitor traffic and leads generated through FareVet. Upload and manage photos that showcase your services. Update key business details such as contact information, hours of operation, and your website. Add personalized information like a business owner bio, your specialties, and more.     At the moment, FareVet is not available on desktop computers. However, you can easily access all the features, including video consultations, through the FareVet app on your mobile device.

When a client books an appointment and you approve it, both you and the client will receive a link to join the video call at the scheduled time. You can also communicate with clients through in-app chat before and after the call. Important Legal Note: While telemedicine offers a convenient way to consult with clients, laws in the US and Canada currently prevent veterinarians from prescribing medications during virtual consultations. Most regions require a physical examination before issuing prescriptions. However, through telemedicine, you can assess symptoms, offer guidance, recommend in-person follow-ups, and provide expert advice on managing a pet’s condition.
